A Lesson on Evangelism from an Atheist

Penn, of Penn & Teller, recently posted this video blog post.  His comments are pretty interesting, especially considering he is a professing atheist.  He has some pretty straight forward, honest and challenging thoughts for Christians about “proselytizing.”  Don’t be pushy but be sincere.  Truely respect the people you’re talking to and look them in the eye.  Most of all, he says that he expects Christians to share their beliefs and try to “proselytize”.

“How much do you have to hate somebody to believe that everlasting life is possible and not tell them that?”  That is easy to say, and I guess it is easier to hear, coming from a Christian (or more likely I’ve just allowed myself to become partially numb to it).  But wow is it challenging to come from someone to openly says that he knows that there is no God.
