Word of the Day: Feague

I’ve got another word challenge for everyone out there.  I know some of you have a pretty impressive vocabulary but I’m betting no one knows this one.  If you do I’m a little scared.

Define the word FEAGUE.  If you’ve got a guess leave it in the comments.  After you make your guess, hit the link and find out all about it.

I guess that is just one more reason why I’m glad I’m not a horse.  And I also learned a new use for the word fundamental.

  1. Well, I’m surprised there’s ANYTHING out there about it… I was under the impression it was an obsolete word… to whip or drive a horse…

  2. Well, there you go… btw… if you look it up in a dictionary, it is obsolete and originally meant to drive or spur on the horse… I was unaware, however, that it was the former name for gingering (another term I was already aware of… doesn’t hurt the horse, btw… just makes it slightly unpleasant…)

  3. Well, before I read Kara’s definition, I thought it meant some type of horse disease…. I guess I’m wrong. Oh Well!
