Recycled – Breakdancing?

Talk about a testament to the way even severe handicaps can be turned around and used to do something amazing.  I thought brakedancing died 15 years ago but these guys make it look incredibly cool.  They’re hurling themselves around, standing on their hands, and doing flips.  And the most incridible part is that they’re both handicaped.  One has only one leg and the other has two legs that are so week that he needs crutches to walk.  But man can they dance!

This is just one more example for the week of how God can recycle broken people.  It even fits this week’s theme, Weakened by Disease.

As I watched this, I can’t help but be reminded of Bobby Martin, a football player with no legs who we talked about a few months ago in our Jr. High small groups.  This is some pretty amazing video as well.

  1. I don’t have the upper body strenght to even walk supported by crutches so I am very impressed. The word that comes to mind is one for us all…OVERCOMER.
