To the Ends of the Earth
June 23, 2008I just had a cool experience during my quiet time this morning. I started some random worship music and it ended up on a Matt Redman song called All Over The World. Then as I read, I came across Psalm 98 and the words below about the whole world rejoicing because of who God is and what He has done.
1 Sing to the LORD a new song,
for he has done marvelous things;
his right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
3 He has remembered his love
and his faithfulness to the house of Israel;
all the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.
7 Let the sea resound, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands,
Let the mountains sing together for joy;
I thought it was cool the way the music and the text blended together. I shouldn’t be surprised. I guess I’ve got the Holy Spirit picking the worship sets for me each morning.
One of the neatest parts was actually after my quiet time. I hoped online and just surfed around for a couple of minutes (because I haven’t been able to do that much lately) and ran into this video. On its own it would be pretty cool but combining it with the song and the text I just heard made it incredible. The creativity that God used to make the world really is unbelievable!
